Manor house

Peetri Manor was originally a small manor farm belonging to the nearby Heimtali Manor. On historical maps, it appears under its German name Peterfeld.
The manor house was commissioned by Baron Frommhold Friedrich Peter von Sivers (1849–1924) of Heimtali Manor and his wife Wilhelmine (1860–1927).

The design for the Peetri Manor house was commissioned from Otto Wildau, an architect from Riga, who also designed the castles of Taagepera and Holdre, as well as Illuste Manor. The builders likewise came from Latvia. Between 1910 and 1912, a two-storey stone building was completed, characterised by a high stone base, roughcast plaster finish, a double-pitched roof, and gable ends decorated with half-timbering. A stable and carriage house for the riding horses was also built. The complex is one of the best examples of German-style Heimatkunst created in the Art Nouveau style in all of Estonia.

Spa

Completed in 2024, the exterior architecture of the spa building (former stable) follows the exterior of the manor house designed by the architect Rudolf von Engelhardt from Tartu, playing with the heavy use of wafer, plaster and natural stone. The interior architecture follows the barn environment of the old manor's outbuilding, resulting in a stylish home spa with tropical plants, where you can find a pleasant finnish sauna, steam room, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The saunas are separated by mirrored glass, leaving the main room a complete, spacious and airy area. Spa complex gives guidance to other heritage manor owners that old buildings can be used in a way that respects the historical style, but in a completely different way than in the past.
